POTD: What is that??

As you can see from the picture, we had a top of the line, 5 star meal for dinner tonight! Ryan had to work late, so I went for the EASIEST and quickest meal possible for the boys! Cameron made that very easy by immediately asking for macaroni and cheese for dinner as soon as we got in the car at his preschool. I decided to suprise him with "Cars" shaped noodles on his "Cars" shaped plate! He was so excited & LOVED every bite! He looked & said, "Oh my goodness Mommy. These noodles are sooooo silly! It looks like McQueen, Mater..." and he proceeded to list all the other characters from the movie that had a noodle on his plate! For the first time in a while, Cameron CLEANED his plate completely! As a reward, he got to choose one of his candies from his Easter basket....stay tuned for his choice of candy tomorrow!

POTD is back!

The weather has been BEAUTIFUL here, so we have been outside A LOT! Both boys are definite outside lovers, so we are outside for hours everyday! Cameron loves to jump on his trampoline! Look at that big boy!! I cannot believe he is growing so fast!

Easter 2011

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny left Cameron a basket full of goodies! All of his favorites: a few new movies, Curious George books, Chuggington trains, a stuffed animal lizard, and new McQueen cars....and don't forget a big chocolate Easter bunny & prize filled eggs! He couldn't believe it when he walked down the stairs! He was SOO excited!

After all the craziness of Easter baskets & chocolate bunnies, we had Easter breakfast...complete with grape stuffed eggs, french toast, bacon, and lots of fruit :) Cameron helped with all the decorations! I love his face in the lower left...he had his "sad" face because there was nothing in the egg he opened. He said, "oh no Mommy...I so sad, the Easter bunny forgot to put something in this egg!" haha!

We had a WONDERFUL day together! The weather was beautiful!! These are only a few highlights from the day. Stay tuned for egg dying & egg hunts :) :)

Summer is so close...I can taste it!

This week is Spring Break for Mommy, so we have had A LOT of fun! We have spent a lot of time outdoors at the park & in the yard, made lots of Easter treats, baked, and just lounged around watching TV! The weather has been PERFECT! Yesterday was above 80, so we decided to have popsicles outside & play in the water table!

Helping Owen with his popsicle & sharing :)

"Cheese face" as Cameron calls it :)

Water time!!! So much fun to play together in the water!

Splash, splash, splash!

Disney World...take 2!

POD#11: "I think I like this place...."

As I made mention to in the previous post, it took Cameron a bit to adjust to all the sights and sounds of Disney. After a few initial minutes of transition, he was all smiles for the rest of the day! We made our way around the park, immediately going for the rides! His first ride was the teacups. He loved it! Mommy & Daddy, on the other hand, didn't like the feeling it gave our tummy! :) :) After the first ride, he was HOOKED...ready to go, go, go! Find as many rides & things as he could. Although, he still wasn't exactly thrilled with all the characters walking around...he ignored it and moved on! Here are a few of my favorite shots as our day at Disney progressed! Thank you to Cici for the Buzz Lightyear toy, which immediately brought a smile to his face! He LOVES it & plays with it ALL the TIME! :) :)

Stay tuned for more of our adventure at Disney...

Disney...take 1!

POD#10: Welcome to Disney!
We have many pictures & many stories to share from our Disney trip. The day started out with a BANG! We arrived at the park & we were IMMEDIATELY greeted by a parade...complete with Mickey, Minnie, Woody, Jesse, and many other characters. As you can see from the bottom middle picture, Cameron didn't react as "magically" as we would have expected. He cried....REAL TEARS....saying, AND I QUOTE "I do not like Disney World Mommy, I want to go home NOW." These 13 words almost made me CRY! This was not the way I had planned it, every kid likes Disney World, right?? As soon as the parade was over, Cameron quickly turned things around and started to have the time of his life! Here are a few snapshots of the many smiles captured throughout the day....stay tuned for more!
