Making chocolate chip cookies...YUMMY!

Before Christmas, Cameron & Mommy made chocolate chip cookies to take on our trip to NC. Cameron is really becoming an adorable little helper in the kitchen. He ALWAYS wants to help Mommy cook! He loves stirring, pouring, and mixing...just about ANYTHING I'm making! He was helping me count the chocolate chips, stir up the batter, and of course sneaking a few bites to make sure everything was okay. As you can see in one of the bottom pictures, he grabbed a handful of chocolate chips and put them aside....saying "these mine...thank you mommy!" Hahaha! Too cute! ENJOY!

Snowball fight...in the kitchen!

Everyone knows that we had a HUGE snowstorm a few weeks ago. While it was actually snowing, it was WAY too cold and windy to take Cameron outside to play in the snow. We had to wait until the snow STOPPED before we could brave the mounds of snow. So, we decided to bring the snow INSIDE! Yes, you read that correctly...I said we decided to bring the snow INSIDE. Ryan, Cameron, and myself had our very own snowball fight in the kitchen/dining room. We had soooo much fun! It wasn't that much of a clean-up b/c I really needed to mop anyway! So, after we were finished (all the snow was melted) I mopped it up while Ryan got Cameron ready for bed. What a fun night!!!!!

Playdough time!

So, in an effort to keep a very busy and curious toddler occupied in our many days together I decided to make playdough and let him add WHATEVER he wanted in it! He decided he wanted "sprinkle balls" as Cameron called the sprinkles. We had so much fun! The sprinkle balls added nice color and little texture to the playdough. We played for almost an hour, making snowmen, snakes, and other playdough designs. The cutest things was watching and listening to Cameron "feed" and "share" his sprinkle balls with the snakes and snowmen. Adorable!! It was sooo easy: salt, water, and flour! ENJOY!

I love, love, love this picture! Look at those cute little hands and adorable little fingers!

Christmas Morning 2009 :)

Finally--Cameron totally LOVED every aspect of Christmas morning. He was soooooo excited to open presents, insisted that Daddy get each toy out of the original package before moving on, and shared a unique & exciting expression while opening each gift. What a wonderful experience--to watch the joys of Christmas through the eyes of a toddler! I can't wait until next year! ;)

Cameron's Santa gift!

Here is Cameron's main Santa gift--a Powerwheels Jeep! He loved it! Unfortunately it was POURING on Christmas morning, so we had to wait until the day after Christmas to enjoy riding it. We took him to a big parking lot and let him ride, run, and have a blast! The middle picture on the bottom is his facial expression as soon as he figured out the Jeep had "power." Too cute!

Hot Chocolate!

After a whole afternoon spent playing in the snow, we decided to give Cameron a little treat--his very first cup of hot chocolate! He LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it! He was smiling and saying yummy the whole time! He drank almost the entire cup using a spoon, taking one little sip at a time! It was adorable! :) ENJOY!

Snow day Part II

So, as most of you know...we took full advantage of our suprise snow fall and headed out to pick out a Christmas tree! Although it was a quick trip b/c we didn't go all the way to the Christmas tree farm, we had a wonderful time! Cameron loved running around through all the trees and playing in the snow.

Cameron & Daddy checking out the trees!

My little explorer!
I think I like this one Mommy! ;)
He was all smiles....UNTIL....
falling one too many times in the snow=these words from Cameron to Mommy:
"Mommy-hands tickle, Mommy-hands tickle"
Needless to say, he didn't have a problem wearing gloves when we played in the snow at home :)

Snow day- 12/5/2009

We got a very unexpected, but beautiful snow yesterday! Of course, Cameron LOVED it! We had so much fun! Mommy had to rush to Target to get gloves and boots--along with all the other families in the area! It was crazy, people were actually fighting and elbowing for BOOTS and MITTENS! We had a wonderful day--filled with going to pick out our Christmas tree (pics on a different post), lots of snowballs, and Cameron's very first cup of Hot Chocolate! :) Yummy! Enjoy!

A few more shots from Thanskgiving....

So, Cameron is 1 of 3 for actually staying awake and participating in Thanksgiving dinner. Look at that face....he just looks EXHAUSTED to me! :)
I just had to share these pictures! Cameron found a "boo-boo" a.k.a small blister on his foot and was trying EVERYTHING to make it all better. Can you tell what is going to happen next based on this picture??
If you guessed, try to "chew" it off--you were right! This was HILARIOUS! He was SOOOOOOOO serious and focused on trying to get this blister to go away! We were all laughing sooooo hard!
And last, but not least---I can't believe I forgot about this. Cameron just LOVED riding Uncle Christopher's new toy!! He was ALL smiles & couldn't get enough!

Thanksgiving weekend

So, I'm sure you are expecting to see lots of eating & turkey for Cameron's Thanksgiving pictures??? Well, Cameron decided to SLEEP during his entire dinner. Granted he didn't have a nap the WHOLE Thanksgiving day AND he was up until midnight the night before Thanksgiving, so I kind of expected it! I will share a picture of that in a different post. These pictures capture Cameron's favorite part of the weekend--being able to play outside both in the dirt and with a basketball. He loved it....and wanted to be outside basically all day! I just LOVE the big picture in the middle. I love the expression & the cute little pose! It should be noted that although Cameron loved playing with the "basketball" he treated it as if it were a "soccer" ball all weekend. I'm beginning to think we have a little soccer player on our hands....:)

Bike Week at the Bauss House

Cox Farms Part II...Animals, animals...everywhere!

Cameron's favorite part of the farm was the animals by far! His favorites were the rabbits, ducks, and of course the cows. He was particularly interested in the rabbits....soooo cute! And he didn't show ANY signs of fear touching the HUGE cow. He got to pet a mommy cow, baby cow, lots of pigs, and he tried to pet the chickens. :) This was one our favorite trips we have had with Cameron. He LOVED it! It will definitely be a tradition in the Bauss house! When we move back to NC, I'll have to find a replacement for a fun, Fall day!

Finally.....

Cameron has decided that his bed is MUCH more comfortable than the floor. As you can see, it STILL isn't in the actual bed frame. We actually put the mattress on the floor close to where he normally sleeps on the floor. Within days, he started sleeping on the mattress. Little by little we are moving it towards the bed frame each day....in hopes that eventually we will be in the actual bed. Pay no attention to the mess-I could clean his room EVERYDAY and it would look like this :) He just loves to pull everything out when he goes to bed. :) Either way, we are happy that he is finally in the bed. He had a little bruise on his poor little hip from sleeping on the floor....

And this picture....I just HAD to post. Although it looks like Sadie is about to attack and tear Cameron's arm off, they were playing and having the BEST time! I just think this picture captures a very unique shot :)

Enjoying a beautiful fall day!

The weather was BEAUTIFUL today, so we took advantage with some time outside. Daddy raked all the leaves in a 2 big piles for Cameron and he LOVED it! We had no idea he would have so much fun! He jumped right in! I just LOVE these pictures! :) ENJOY!

Running start and JUMP in the pile!
Can you spot Cameron??

Soooo much fun! :)

Rolling around and around and around in the leaf pile.
