Just wanted to give everyone a quick update about Cameron...
We are STILL battling with the never-ending fever. Hasn't been below 100 since Wednesday morning. We are alternating Motrin and Tylenol...and cool baths. We are headed to the doctor tomorrow morning to see what's going on. He isn't "fussy," just very clingy and pitiful! Lots of coughing, sneezing, and yucky eye stuff.
I took on Wednesday, Ryan took off today, and now I'm off again tomorrow. On top of all this, I have a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE deadline tomorrow morning. Keep us in your thoughts please!!
We'll keep you posted...

Enjoying the beautiful weather!
Cameron and I spent most of the afternoon outside yesterday enjoying the wonderful weather! Good thing we did because not only is it rainy and cold today, but Cameron is home with me today with a HIGH fever, horrible cough, and lots of congestion in his chest. He woke up this morning with an almost 104 degree temperature! I gave him a cool bath, lots of Motrin, and cuddled with him for most of the morning. He was so sad! He didn't even want to move...:-( We finally laid down on the guest bed to rest and he was able to get comfortable enough to sleep--so that is where he has been all morning! I'm hoping he'll sleep through most of his sickness, it's no fun having a helpless, sick baby. Here are a few pictures from our afternoon outside yesterday....and a sneak peak at Mother's Day gifts for all the many Grandma's in Cameron's life! ENJOY & keep your fingers crossed we'll get through this sickness soon!
Painting flower pots & experimenting with mixing colors of paint...fun, fun, fun!
He loved mixing the colors and experimenting with painting all over!
After we finished painting flower pots, art time wasn't over--we started painting with our tractor wheels all over the big paper! This was my FAVORITE!
Finally, after all that painting we had to wash our hands and tractor wheels because it was time for dinner! What a fun day! :-)

My promise....to you
Life is slowly getting back to normal here in the Bauss household! Due to the return to normalcy, I am making a promise to our faithful blog followers:
1. I promise to make a post EVERY day, even if it is short!
2. I promise to post pictures several times a week :-)
I have heard from many of you in the past month or so regarding the lack of posts and updates about Cameron and our daily lives. Hopefully, my promise of blogging at least once per day will help. We are all truely grateful to have such loving family and friends....we just hate that most of you are so far away!
Cameron's update for now:
-He climbs on EVERYTHING
-He babbles and talks constantly!
-We have officially changed his name to "independent"
-He finds himself in time-out several times a day...because of this independence
In other words, I can basically sum up Cameron's current update in one word:
100% TODDLER!
Until tomorrow!

The game!
As part of Ryan's wedding gift from me, I bought him Red Sox/Yankees tickets...as most of you know. Ryan's dad was nice enough to join us on the trip to watch Cameron while we were at the game. Thanks again, Pa! :-) Here are a few shots we took at the game. EnJoY!
We made it, Fenway Park: the place with yummy food, Sam Adams Summer Ale on tap, and Sweet Caroline in the 8th....also one of our favorite places to visit! We hope for another trip this summer! Keep your fingers crossed!
Wally, the Green Monster getting the game started!
The view from our seats-not the best for about 45 minutes with the sun, but it was well worth it! We loved every minute!

Our weekend in Boston!
We spent the weekend in one of our FAVORITE places--BOSTON!! The weather was perfect, we loved spending time with Grandpa Bauss, the sights were amazing....and most importantly we had a much needed weekend away!
After a day of seeing the city, Daddy & Mommy went to the most exciting place in the city: FENWAY PARK!!!
BOSTON! :-)
Day One: We spent the day enjoying the perfect weather walking around the city! Although it was a little warm; the weather was greeted with open arms after we had a week of rainy cold weather at home. We enjoyed street vendor hotdogs for lunch, hung around the Boston Public Garden & Park for a while, then just enjoyed a nice, long walk around the most beautiful city I have ever visited! I think we would move there if we ever got the opportunity!!
Cameron checking out the ducklings from the children's book, Make Way for the Ducklings...too cute!!
Daddy & Cameron enjoying the sunshine!
Daddy & Grandpa Bauss taking a break from the heat!
So, our journey around the city took us up and down the beautiful streets of Boston. We went by Cheers, enjoyed many other historical sites the city has to offer...including:
Shoes as flower pots....PERFECT!
...and the finish line for the Boston Marathon (maybe mommy will be lucky enough to cross this in a race someday??...ummmm)
Then after a long day of Boston in the heat, Cameron cooled off with a little water and a silly hair-do from Daddy! It sure did cool him off quick though!!

They say I'll get to go there someday and I'll love it!
**More pictures of Fenway park on a new post tomorrow, I gotta get in the bed**
Day Two: Mommy & Cameron went to see Elmo Live!! Mommy didn't get to take many pictures because we were all by ourselves, but she did get a few shots. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED Elmo and all the singing! The day was filled with cookies, cotton candy, new Elmo toys, and a huge Elmo balloon! Gotta love Sesame Street marketing! They entered the arena with balloons and toys at just the right time as the kids were getting anxious and wiggly! We had a blast though! Mommy says I may get to go back someday soon!
After all this excitement, we decided to hang out in the room for a few hours and relax! I loved playing with all my new toys, as well as the many other "things" I could get into throughout the hotel room! :-)

We left to go home early in the morning! It was a wonderful weekend for all of us! Cameron did okay on the 10 hour car trip....plenty of DVD's, snacks, singing, and of course all of his cars and trains helped TREMENDOUSLY! :-)
We want say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Grandpa Bauss for making the trip with us! We had a BLAST! Thank you for everything this weekend! Can't wait to see you again very soon, "PA"

Trip to the zoo....
Easter 2009
Finally, an update!!
So, so, so, sorry for the delay and lack of pictures lately. It's been a crazy & hectic month in the Bauss household. Things are totally back to normal now! I even bought a Media reader...so I don't have to waste anymore time searching for my camera cord! I promise to go back to normal with the updates! :-) I'm just going to post the happenings of Mr. Cameron over the past month or so....it may seem random, but I'll explain with captions :-) ENJOY!
My very first taste of chocolate milk! I didn't put it down until the WHOLE box was gone!
Fun day at Mommy's school on the big kids playground!
