Cam and Sadie....take 2!

It seems like every picture I take these days involves Cam and Sadie doing something---hilarious, michievious, or just too cute to resist. Here are a few pics of Cam and Sadie playing the water from a rain storm on the back deck. I know it probably isn't the "cleanest" thing possible, BUT they were having SOOO much fun! :) We took a bath as soon as they finished! :)

I saved the BEST for last...isn't that just ADORABLE?!!??

Our 2 babies :)

Cameron is FINALLY getting the idea of looking at the camera and smiling when I ask him to.....although he usually doing one or the other--SMILES or looks at the camera! :) As everyone knows, Cam and Sadie are BFF. I'm not sure why I say I want baby #2....when it's really going to be baby #3 :) Enjoy these pictures of Cam and Sadie hammin' it up for the camera! :) They are just adorable, if I must say so myself!

My new favorite....you can definitely tell he is saying "cheeeeeeessse" :)

HAPPY GRANDPARENT's DAY & sickness update!

HAPPY GRANDPARENT's DAY! We've had a rough week, so gifts haven't been mailed yet. I had a really cute idea for everyone, but this ANNOYING sickness has forced the gift-making back a little. No worries, everyone will receive something soon! Thank you ALL for your love and support, Cameron is VERY lucky to have soooooo many wonderful grandparents!

Here's a picture that only parents & grandparents could adore! Haha! :)

We filled his sand/water table with just water last week, he was in and out, up and down....mean while, his pull-up didn't cooperate with all the water intake and movement. Haha! He had to stand with his knees bent to keep it up. I just HAD to take a picture! No worries, I changed him as soon as I captured the Kodak moment! More pictures from the sand/water table soon. That's another favorite around the house :)

SICKNESS UPDATE: As of now (Sunday 6:27pm) we seem to be in the clear from fevers and sickness, BUT I thought the same thing yesterday afternoon. THEN, the ANNOYING fever decided to show its face again! Cameron has been up and about MUCH more than we have seen the past week & his appetite is getting better. So, for now...I think we're good to go! I'm sorry I haven't called and kept everyone updated. It's been a loooooooong week for us! I will return calls SOON! :)

Finally, my train table is complete!

FINALLY, Mommy & Daddy put together the train table! It actually wasn't as bad as we thought. It took Mommy about an hour from start to finish to get the tracks in place! Cameron couldn't be happier. From the second I let him in the room, he was smiling and saying "oooh choo choo." To make the day even more special, we decided to take him to Toys R Us to pick out a new Thomas train this afternoon. Ryan was very shocked at the Thomas prices of $11.99 a train. We attempted to give other options of other brands, but Cameron wouldn't have it! He wanted the "Thomas" brand. HAHA! We did manage to talk him into the $11.99 train versus the $21.99 train! :) Needless to say, I think he is going to spend A LOT of his time upstairs in the playroom...he LOVES it! :) These pictures aren't the best quality, but rest assured you will see many more train pictures in the future! :)

Thanks sooooo much Grams, I mean "UM!"

Here they are, birthday party pictures :)

The next few posts are a little out of order, but I didn't think anyone would mind. I meant to post Details first, then cake, then presents....but it didn't work out that way. You should be able to click on each picture to enlarge the picture.

More individual shots of the day, as well as what we've been up to since Cameron's party coming soon.

As many of you know, my first official day back to work is tomorrow....so I need to stop blogging and Facebooking....and shift my focus to teacher mode. ENJOY :)

finally, presents!

The process of opening presents lasted a few days AFTER the party. As you can see, Cameron's friend Beau helped him open one gift after the party....lots of Lightening McQueen cars, which they BOTH love! It kept them occupied the rest of the night. The rest of the gifts were opened a few a day, so he could fully enjoy each! Thank you everyone for all the wonderful gifts! Stayed tuned for pictures and collages of him actually enjoying all the new things. We have had to literally rearrange, pack up old toys, and move some things around in our house to make room for the new!

Time for Cake!!!

Time for CAKE! Cameron just LOVED everyone singing happy birthday to him. He smiled the WHOLE time! Here he is enjoying TWO cupcakes for his special day. He couldn't decide between Cookie Monster and Abby, but then again---who could blame him??? They were delicious! :)

As promised, birthday pictures....FINALLY :)

So, here they are FINALLY! Birthday pictures from Cameron's actual birthday party. If anyone else took any pictures that day, PLEASE, PLEASE email me. I didn't get to take as many as I wanted b/c I was too busy playing the "host" role.....and making sure our "outdoor party....moved indoors at the last moment" was flowing as smooth as possible! :)

Here are the details of the day:

Delicious & absolutely beautiful cake and cupcakes thanks Cakes by Michelle Welliver :) We also had: Ernie's Delicious Punch, Telly's Triangular Treats paired with Abby's Awesome Dips, and Big Bird's Trial Mix...complete with Sesame Street crackers and M&M's.....all centered around a beautiful Cookie Monster Edible Arrangement.
Elmo also had pizza delivered later in the party! :) We didn't want anyone to go hungry :)

Our fun & messy morning....

We had a very fun & messy morning today! What started as an innocent & cute little painting project, ended in Cameron painting his entire body with paint! We had SOOOO much fun, although Daddy was a little grossed out by the whole thing. After paint, we filled up the pool and brought out the bubbles for a fun clean-up. :) Enjoy these pictures, they are HILARIOUS! :)

Concentrating hard on his masterpiece!

Having so much fun....this picture was taken as he was painting his face :)
More painting :)
A close-up shot---in case you were wondering how "thick" he really painted himself :)
A clean up that was just as fun as the project! Enjoying the beautiful day with a little pool time in the sunshine! :)

Just a little bit longer....

So, birthday pictures are all ready to post....BUT now I've gotta let the camera charge. Birthday pictures & many other fun things will be posted by tomorrow morning. Keep checking back for more! :) ENJOY the collage of some of our FAVORITE Cameron expressions! :)

My first day of preschool

So, I know I'm skipping ahead a bit and everyone is still waiting *patiently* on pictures from Cameron's birthday weekend. I promise to finish up & catch up this weekend. Last week was a a week of adjustment for all of us--well at least Mommy & Cameron. Daddy's schedule hasn't changed much...just had to help us all adjust to Mommy being back to work. :)

On Monday, we started many things. Mommy went back to work and Cameron went to his new preschool. Needless to say, this week and last week has been a little rocky. Today was Day #8 of preschool....and this morning Cameron SEEMED to SHOW a little ray of hope that his seperation anxiety is getting a little better. We have had 8 solid mornings of TEARS, SAD FACES, and teachers basically having to PULL Cameron from me so I can leave. Luckily, I'm a teacher--and I know, as a teacher, the BEST thing to do is say goodbye and LEAVE. I know, as a teacher, that it isn't good for ANYONE (Cameron, teachers, or me) to poke around and make it a long drawn out process. BUT, let me tell you, AS A MOM, it is the most painful & heartbreaking thing in the world to leave a crying, sad-faced baby every morning. It didn't take me long to figure out that the tears and sad faces were only for me. He stopped crying and joined in the group within MINUTES of me leaving from DAY ONE! Nonetheless, I hope this transition continues to get better and better....with the goal being ZERO tears in the morning.

Here are a few pictures of his first day. The center took several more, to reassure me that they see laughing, smiling, and fun all day, but I'm trying to figure out how I can scan and post them. I'm going to get Ryan to work on it this weekend....so look for more to come about preschool
Here we are...getting ready to head out the door. Backpack and all! :)

The director went back into class for me as soon as I left to snap a quick shot of the sad :( face I had to leave. No worries, pictures taken just MINUTES after this one with their camera are nothing but beautiful smiles :)

I snapped this shot when I came in to pick him up on his first day. He was sitting so perfectly listening to a story and enjoying music time. Such a big boy!!
