our pumpkins :)

Today was PUMPKIN day at the Bauss household. We went to a local farm, got our pumpkins, made cookies, and carved our lovely creations. With all these things happening in 1 day...that leads to LOTS of picture taking. I have a total of around 200 pictures to sort through & edit. I'll post more pictures from our day tomorrow, but wanted to share our pumpkins! Cameron LOVED the farm and all the animals...love for some GREAT pictures and collages to come...:)

ENJOY!

A little of this...a little of that....:)

Well, Cameron WAS looking directly at the camera with this BIG laughing, smile on his face.....right up until the flash snapped. Still a cute picture. I just LOVE his smile! :)

Not sure why Cameron always has to experiment so many different ways of riding all his toys. I guess the ground isn't good enough! Haha! Does this picture remind you of anything??

Here's a hint....Haha! :)
I took this picture to show how TALL Cameron is--just a little bit taller than our railing on the back deck! Before long, he'll be taller than Mommy! :)

Our little monkey!

A sneak peek at Cameron's Halloween costume! These pictures were taken about 2 weeks ago---We had to buy it early, so he would have plenty of time to try it on and make sure that is the one he wanted! Pay no attention to the DISASTER zone of a house in the pictures. We will in 100% family/playtime with Cameron....so toys are EVERYWHERE! My favorite picture is the picture of Ryan & the monkey at the bottom--SIMPLY ADORABLE! :) Many, many more monkey pictures will be coming I'm sure....with all the Halloween events in the near future! :)

Getting ready for Halloween...

Well, we started this project about a month ago...and with the recent events....looks like we STILL aren't going to finish on time. UGH! Cameron is painting and decorating picture frames for everyone--to come as soon as we finish them up. We only have 1 more to go....let's hope Mommy feels better soon so we can finish.

The following pictures are the 1st frame we made. First, we painted the frame....Cameron chose "ong" as he so cute-ly says orange. Very clean--kid & mom friendly--painting fun! :)

The next day, I gave Cameron some Halloween stickers to add. As you can see, he chose to add the window clings as well...HAHA! :) Again, very clean fun :)
Look Mommy--I figured out how to get the sticker off the sticker sheet ALL BY MYSELF!

THEN--DAY #2

So, on Day #2 of painting....he wanted RED paint! Although, we had a BLAST and I know many parents would NEVER let their toddlers make such a mess with red paint...I'm not sure what the scence looked like from the outside looking in??!!! Ryan was HORRIFIED--hahaha!

Not only did Cameron have FUN. As you can see in the pictures, he kept raising his hands saying "Hooray, Mommy!" Hahaha! :) Whoever is lucky enough to get the red picture frame, please know...it was a lovely mess to clean up. My kitchen looked like a murder scene! Haha! :)

Our trip to the Peanut Festival!

We went to visit "Um/Grammy" this weekend, along with Cameron's adorable cousins-Elizabeth & Aliyah. What a busy weekend it was! Saturday night we bravely took all 3 kids (ages: 20 months, 26 months, and 28 months) to the Peanut Festival in Suffolk, VA. Basically, it is like a big fair--complete with rides, lots of yummy food, and games.

The kids LOVED it--especially the popcorn, lights, and moonbounce. :)

Good times, good weekend! :)

Look out....3 toddlers on the loose--with a motorized vehicle! :)

One of the many highlights of the weekend--riding on a "power wheels" tractor. This was Cameron's first time ever driving anything with power all by himself. He did a great job....we only had a few mishaps. Haha ;)

catching up on flashbacks...

Although all of these pictures are between 6 months and a 1 old....his riding toys remain a favorite and DOMINANTING part of this household. We've had to "limit" the number of riding toys in the house at one time....just to conserve a little of Mommy's sanity. :) He does an EXCELLENT job with his tricycle now. Rides it just like a big boy, although he goes a little too fast for Mommy. I'm thinking of introducing a helmet, just in case :) I'll try my best to capture him on video riding. He usually rides his tricycle while I walk Sadie every afternoon when we get home from school :)

A little bath time laugh :)

Haha! I couldn't stop laughing tonight during Cameron's bathtime. As you can see in the picture, he was attempting to "taste" the water coming from the faucet with his tongue. Anytime I tried or asked if I could turn the water on....his response was "no mommy, this mine!"

Mine has definitely become a favorite Cameron word of the month! :)
