POTD #9: Splish, splash, Cameron & Sadie are taking a bath.

A few nights ago, I was getting Owen ready for bed while Cameron was playing in the bathtub. Cameron sounded a little more excited than normal, laughing & giggling HISTERICALLY in the bathtub. I heard him talking, but assumed he was just playing/talking with his toys. Still, I thought to myself, "something just doesn't sound right." I (after grabbing my camera of course) headed to investigate what in the world could be so funny....and this was the scene I found. Water was EVERYWHERE! We just had to laugh at the whole situation :) :)

POTD #8: Raking leaves

This past weekend we spent most of the day Saturday outside enjoying the Fall weather before WINTER and SNOW arrive! Cameron loved trying to help Daddy rake the leaves, although he loved running & playing with them MUCH more! He wasn't very productive with raking leaves into 1 pile...he tended to rake them ALL around the yard, haha! Still cute to help Daddy though!

POTD #6: Buzz Lightyear!

If you are in our house longer than 10 minutes, you can definitely expect to hear, "I'm Buzz Lightyear, Space Ranger...I come in peace!" "To Infinity & Beyond!" For those of you not familiar with Toy Story, those words are often spoken by the wonderful Buzz Lightyear! Well, now we not only have the toy Buzz Lightyear in the Bauss house....we have Cameron who assumes the role of Buzz Lightyear frequently! I have to admit, it is ADORABLE! Here, Cameron is playing with Buzz & showing off his favorite jammies....that are...Buzz Lightyear OF COURSE!

POTD Day#5: Owen loves to watch, giggle, laugh, and interact with Cameron these days! It is so much fun to watch their relationship grow!! :)

 

Cameron is starting to learn how to write & form letters! Here are his first two letters. His descriptions were: "L" for a little girl Leah at his preschool and "O" for Owen! :) He is growing up TOOOOOOOO fast!

POTD, Day #2: Read, read, read!

Everyone knows that Mommy is a sucker for books and reading! We have turned Cameron into a lover of books & reading. Nothing could make Mommy happier!! His favorite time to read is of course, bedtime! He would read for HOURS if we would let him. We have to limit the number of books each night so that he can still get to bed at a decent hour, haha! Here, Cameron & Daddy are reading one of our favorites: The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

Cox Farms

It is always fun to look back and see how much Cameron has changed :) Check out these pictures of Cameron at Cox Farms last year vs. this year. Very much the SAME interested (animals, running around, jumping, sliding, etc.) but looks different. Where did my baby boy go????

 

Trick-or-treat!

We have MANY, MANY more Halloween pictures to come, but I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of trick-or-treating. This was Cameron's first year...and he LOVED it! He was a little unsure at the first 2 houses, but he quickly changed his mind and got the hang of the whole thing. I know I'm biased, but I think he is the cutest Sheriff Woody around! Happy Halloween ya'll! :)

The first house he went up to ALL BY HIMSELF. He politely told me, "Mommy you stay here on the sidewalk with all the other Mommy's...I do it all by myself!"

As everyone knows, Cameron LOVES to help Mommy cook anything. Last weekend while Daddy was away on a business trip, we decided to make Rice Krispie treat balls. We had so much fun. Of course, as you can see from the pictures, Woody had to help every step of the way. Cameron has convenient started using his Buzz & Woody dolls to get things for himself. For example, the other night at bedtime Cameron rushed into the kitchen saying "Mommy, Woody is really hungry. He wants some crackers and some goldfish." Too cute! :) :)

 

Our annual tradition!

Our annual tradition--COX FARMS! :) :) Hotdogs, popcorn, haystacks, animals, slides, and all the fall goodies anyone could want! :) We just LOVE this tradition in our family! Each year gets a little more interesting...and Cameron enjoys it even more!

As usual, Cameron LOVED the animals! He loved the animals so much this year that he got a little bite from a pig! Didn't even cry--but got a little nip nonetheless! :)

His FAVORITE thing this year was feeding the goats. We haven't done this in previous years b/c he wasn't quite big enough. This year was a different story--he LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it! It was hard to get him away from this part of the farm! He is an animal lover!

PUMPKIN TIME! He picked out that small pumpkin he is holding, "just for Owen b/c he is too little" to quote Cameron! :)

A trip to the park...

Today, Cameron's school was closed for a teacher professional development day. SOOOO...I just HAD to take off work. I wasn't disappointed in the least, I LOVED having the opportunity to spend extra time with my boys! We started the morning making our very own homemade version of IHOP's funny face pancake, then headed to a local place with tons of bounce houses, slides, and big open running areas. We ended our day with naps for everyone, a trip to the park, and a picnic dinner outside :) I didn't have my camera charged for the pancake making or the bounce houses....but mangaged to get a few pictures of the park :)

As I was cleaning up from our picnic dinner, Cameron decided to help himself to the ENTIRE container of OJ. When asked, "Cameron what are you doing...why didn't you ask Mommy for juice if you were thirsty?" He says, "that's okay Mommy...I can do myself, see?" Ahhhhhhhh........toddlers?!?!

Our trip to the Peanut Festival!

We decided (very last minute) to make a day trip down to visit Elizabeh & Aliyah yesterday. We took the kids to the Peanut Festival, which is basically a huge fair with peanuts all over the place. Cameron LOVED it! It is the first time he has really shown an interest in riding rides. He loved every second, did a WONDERFUL job waiting his turn, and was ALL smiles. The only tears we had were after we broke the news to him that is was time to leave so we could get dinner. He wasn't very happy, but recovered quickly :) The HUGE drink you see him sipping on was a Kool-Aid slushie....probably the MOST sugar he has ever had in his entire life. As much as I didn't want him to have it, I figure it would be okay to splurge with a sugar loaded drink once in his life :) ENJOY!
