A trip to the park...

Today, Cameron's school was closed for a teacher professional development day. SOOOO...I just HAD to take off work. I wasn't disappointed in the least, I LOVED having the opportunity to spend extra time with my boys! We started the morning making our very own homemade version of IHOP's funny face pancake, then headed to a local place with tons of bounce houses, slides, and big open running areas. We ended our day with naps for everyone, a trip to the park, and a picnic dinner outside :) I didn't have my camera charged for the pancake making or the bounce houses....but mangaged to get a few pictures of the park :)

Playing peek-a-boo with Owen :)

Big smiles from my big boy! He insists on sitting in the baby swing b/c I will swing him higher than the regular swing :)

As I was cleaning up from our picnic dinner, Cameron decided to help himself to the ENTIRE container of OJ. When asked, "Cameron what are you doing...why didn't you ask Mommy for juice if you were thirsty?" He says, "that's okay Mommy...I can do myself, see?" Ahhhhhhhh........toddlers?!?!

Our trip to the Peanut Festival!

We decided (very last minute) to make a day trip down to visit Elizabeh & Aliyah yesterday. We took the kids to the Peanut Festival, which is basically a huge fair with peanuts all over the place. Cameron LOVED it! It is the first time he has really shown an interest in riding rides. He loved every second, did a WONDERFUL job waiting his turn, and was ALL smiles. The only tears we had were after we broke the news to him that is was time to leave so we could get dinner. He wasn't very happy, but recovered quickly :) The HUGE drink you see him sipping on was a Kool-Aid slushie....probably the MOST sugar he has ever had in his entire life. As much as I didn't want him to have it, I figure it would be okay to splurge with a sugar loaded drink once in his life :) ENJOY!

One cool kid!

Cameron has recently started to be VERY interested in wearing sunglasses all the time. He wears them every morning & afternoon to/from school...sometimes when he is outside playing...and other times just around the house. He has new favorite glasses (with Spiderman on them) since these pictures were taken, but I just had to share these anyway!

Catching up...

Althought these pictures are several months old now, I thought I just had to share! This is Cameron's first official ride on his new bday bicycle from Papaw Staines! I was even able to capture his very 1st accident! I just love the colors, big smiles, and expressions on his face! So cute!

Apple Picking!

This is Mommy's FAVORITE time of year--Fall! To kick off the season, we went apple picking and had a picnic at a local orchard! This will DEFINITELY become an annual event in the Bauss household! We had so much fun! So glad Papaw Staines could join in the fun! ENJOY!

Great Wolf Lodge!!

As all of you know, we took a trip to Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Cameron's birthday instead of dealing with the stress and cost of a birthday party. It was probably one of the BEST decisions we have ever made! It was a blast and Cameron LOVED every minute!! Aliyah & Elizabeth even came to join in the fun! What a fun weekend, we cannot wait to go back!! :)

To make our weekend extra special, we got Cameron an upgraded room with his very own "wolf den" in our room. He LOVED it. He had his OWN bed, OWN room, OWN tv and all the snacks he could ask for!

We spent most of the weekend in the water park....we could not get Cameron out of the water!

He LOVED the slides, even the big ones! What a little dare devil we have on our hands...haha :)

Cameron had so much fun playing with Elizabeth & Aliyah all weekend. They splashed, floated, and jumped in the water for hours!!

Some of my favorites from the weekend....

Cameron saying, "bye bye water, bye bye slides, bye bye splashing...." Basically saying goodbye to EVERYTHING in the entire place....too cute!

Checking out all the water :)

Learning to float in the water. We are definitely signing him up for more swim lessons soon. He was definitely showing us that he is ready to swim like a big boy...and with his lack of fear for the water, it will be necessary before next summer!!

First night there at dinner. He had ALL his favorite on own plate: pizza, mac & cheese, pineapple, cucumber, hotdog, and bread...followed by a glass of chocolate milk! What a lucky boy!!

I have LOTS more pictures. Will post more soon! :) :) ENJOY!
