Another favorite thing....

Ok, grandparents...brace yourself for the next few videos. Please sit down while watching this and close the screen IMMEDIATELY if you experience any chest pains or anything resembling a heart attack--I'm warning you now--you will all feel the need to have a talk with me after you see this. Cameron gets VERY silly close to bed time...his new trick-well, I'll let you see for yourself! ENJOY!

Last, but not least. :-) ENJOY!

A few new favorites....

We have had a pretty low key weekend. Saturday we enjoyed the sunshine ALL day, followed by a much needed night out for Mommy & Daddy. Cameron had his first "real" babysitter. Up until this point everyone he has stayed with he has known them. She had a wonderful report for us when we got home. Today, I'm not exactly sure what we're doing....I'm sure it will involve pictures! Check back soon!
I just LOVE going up and down the stairs...and trying to figure out how to open and close the gates! CHEESE!My farm & farm animals...:-)
Mommy's math manipulatives from work! Who would have thought snap cubes would keep a baby occupied for such a long time!

He even thinks they, along with his "ba" need to join us for breakfast! :-)

fun-filled afternoon :-)

We had a fun afternoon---filled with making pudding, eating pudding, lots of playtime, and walks with Sadie outside. Here are a few pictures from our evening...my baby is growing up sooooo fast--it breaks my heart!
Making pudding Step #1: Pour the pudding packet in the bowl....
Step #2: Stir, stir, stir....as you can see he already had a few little bites :-)
Step #3: Close-up shot of sweet Cam...and all the yummy pudding!
And finally, by the miracle of premade Jello Pudding cups, Cameron didn't have to wait the whole 10 minutes for the pudding to set...he got to enjoy pudding IMMEDIATELY and boy did he LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!
All cleaned up after pudding....
Mommy was organizing, cleaning, and rearranging toys.....and taking lots of breaks to play with Mr. Cameron! :)
Look at that little builder! He got up to 10 blocks at a time....his favorite part--crashing the blocks down with his cars!
Big smiles from the big boy!

Harris Teeter shopper "in training"

Attention Harris Teeter Associates: "Clean-up on Aisle 2"

Look what I can do ALL by myself!

Our little painter...

Mommy had the day off work, so we decided it was a good idea to paint a few more pictures for my playroom. As you can see, we had paint EVERYWHERE-including Sadie! Cameron had a great time and loves doing little projects! Enjoy!

We even tried painting with our feet. It felt so funny, I was giggling and laughing at Mommy! She is sooooo silly!
Here I am painting with the bubble wand. Isn't it such a great shot of the paint ALL over my face...luckily Mommy doesn't care that I get all messy during our projects!
And of course, my hands!! Here I am working hard to put the top back on for Mommy! I'm such a great helper!!Towards the end--my focus shifted from painting to getting all the tops back on the paint!

It's ALLLLLLLLmost summer!

We started our weekend by going out for yummmy icecream! Cameron got his first *very own* child's size icecream with lots of sprinkes! He loooved it and said "yummy" several times during our trip!!
Here is a big smile from the baby boy!

He had his very own spoon and fed himself ALL by myself! What a big boy!

We started our Saturday with a family day outside enjoying the warm sunshine! Sadie got the first shot at the *new* pool while Cameron was taking a nap!
Cameron LOVED the water!!
Soooooooo happy! It was so hot that Daddy joined Cam & Sadie in the water!
A quick family shot! :-)

Back to the water, "Cheese," says Cameron.
Very upset that he couldn't "move" the pool! He got over it fairly quickly and went right back to playing and splashing in the water!
Daddy was soooooo excited that he BROKE the chair!

We're off for dinner. More pictures to come from our weekend! ENJOY!

It's a beautiful day....

We definitely couldn't let the beautiful sunshine and warm weather pass without a quick trip to the park. We went to the "playground" at Mommy's school and played for a while yesterday, enjoyed yummy snacks and juice, then headed home to meet Daddy for dinner. It was soooo much fun! I'm such a big boy now....I can go up and down the steps, the slide, and the rockwall...ALL BY MYSELF! ENJOY!

I just love this picture! He was concentrating so hard as he was climbing up the ladder!
A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!
Sidewalk chalk...which lasted about 5 minutes until Cameron felt the need to have a taste!

Up the rock wall....ALL BY HIMSELF!
Having soooo much fun! He is definitely an outside baby! :-)
Look for more pictures from the weekend! Not sure what we are doing yet....we are trying to talk Daddy into a short trip to the beach. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Such a cutie-pie!

It's been a crazy, hectic week! I apologize for the delay in updates and pictures. I know my promise was once per day, but it has been IMPOSSIBLE this week. I am currently starting my journey towards National Board Certification--something that will be time-consuming but WELL worth it in March!! Keep your fingers crossed & pray that I make it through this process. Once 121 teachers in my ENTIRE county have achieved this level of professionalism, so it is a BIG deal. It is something that I have committed myself to do before we expand our family to 4. No worries grandparents, more grandchildren will be on the way soon. :-) Speaking of work, I only have 22 more days until my very first WORK FREE summer since becoming a teacher 7 years ago. I want to take this summer to spend as much time with Cameron as possible...and enjoy every minute without worrying about work! We plan to visit everyone LOTS, do LOTS of fun things, take more swimming lessons, and attend weekly play groups with other babies of teachers at my school. It should be a wonderful summer!!

In addition to this, I am in the beginning stages of training for another 1/2 and a FULL marathon. The 1/2 (13.1 miles) in October and full marathon (26.2 miles) in January. Ryan is also starting to run with me. He says there is absolutely no way he is attempting a marathon, but plans to do either a 5K or 10K the same day as my other races. We really enjoy that time together as a family and Cameron loves the jogging stroller!!

Onto Cameron--so far his ears are OKAY, not 100% just OKAY. We are keeping a close watch on them and plan to rush him to the doctor at the first sign of infection. I'm hoping we are clear...no tubes...no more ear infections, but we can only wait and see. He is back to himself, Mr. Independent Toddler with the CUTEST smile ever!! Enjoy these pictures taken throughout the week. We have had many days of sunshine, so we have taken full advantage!!

Sunshine=walk for Sadie and Cameron. Cameron and I usually walk about a mile, then come back for dinner and back out for Mommy & Daddy's running....with Cameron in the jogging stroller. I just LOVE this weather!!

Cameron enjoying the sunshine having a snack on the back deck.

Onto dinner time-Cameron got a special treat after eating all of this dinner. Yummy Chocolate pudding. He loved it, can you tell???
He even shared with Mommy! Such a sweet boy!Lickin' up every last drop!
:-)
After all that pudding, we went straight to bath! Check out Cam's lovely hair-do after his bath. Silly baby!!
And finally a close up shot of my cutie-pie! I LOVE this face...and check out those teeth!

Happy Mother's Day!

We had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day! We were outside almost all day enjoying the perfect, sunshine-y weather! Me & Daddy let Mommy sleep in while we made her yummy breakfast and a beautiful card. Then, we spent lots of time outside enjoying our first day of sunshine in over 2 weeks! What a fun and exhausting day!

Cameron ran and ran and ran...chasing birds, picking flowers, blowing bubbles, and much more!

Saying hi to Sadie :-)
So sweet :-)
Taking a break from the sunshine for some juice and food!

Back outside after dinner...to enjoy more sunshine.

Checkin out the pebbles...

Leave it to Cameron to be more interested in putting the lid on and off than actually blowing bubbles!Even after a whole day outside, I didn't want to come inside...can you tell?

And a flash back to last years Mother's Day....hasn't he grown???
